The Olivian Players

Hi all!  Here I am back again after having misbehaved myself badly doing trick or treating on Halloween. My Mummy is very cross with me for having thrown the three-piece suite on the bonfire without first asking. And nobody told me that a rocket would burn down a municipal building if you fired it in the window. But enough of my Indiana Jones/James Bond type lifestyle.

One Act Festival News

You will be glad to know that Joe Jordan and the gang had a brilliant opening festival at Kilmuckridge last Sunday week when the show took second place and both Paul and Laura picked up best actor and actress prizes – well done to cast and crew.  There was no joy in Garter Lane in Waterford on Saturday 8th Nov. but we picked up another second place on Sunday 9th in Portlaoise together with a nomination for best actor and actress. And of course it doesn’t end there. “A gaggle of Saints” can be seen again next Saturday 15th Nov. in the new Moat Club Theatre in Naas and the following Saturday 22nd. Nov. in Skerries. Our continuing best wishes to Joe and Co. for the remaining two festivals.

E.MAIL

It is our hope to send future copies of this hallowed publication to you by email only where possible. Please send your mailing address to Dermot at info@olivianplayers.com. You can phone it also to the Editor at 087 9650348. If you have no email address or wish to receive the newsletter by post only we will be happy to continue to facilitate you for as long as this is practical (or as long as my piggy bank holds out – and it’s very lean at the moment). We welcome your views in this and every other matter as long as they are not too abusive or a slur on the impeccable character of the Editor.

(I thought he was one – does he have any?)
